Release 4.39.9

This release includes important updates to our Sage integration, streamlines the billing process for subscription package changes, and enhances email deliverability for custom company domains.

Company Settings

Enhanced email deliverability for custom domains

To ensure emails sent from your custom company domain always reach their recipients and avoid spam folders, we’ve strengthened our email authentication. You’ll now see updated instructions in your Company Settings for adding two new DNS records. Until all records are verified, emails will be sent from a default Planyard address, but replies will still go to your original sender.

General Improvements

Streamlined billing for subscription package changes

This update ensures that when you change your subscription package, billing is handled smoothly and reliably. If you have a card on file, you’ll be invoiced and charged immediately. If you don’t have payment details (e.g., converting after a trial), you’ll be guided through a secure checkout to provide your card information and complete the package change. Cancelled customers can now also easily re-subscribe to any package through the same checkout process. Customers billed by bank transfer remain unaffected, with charges added to their next invoice as usual.

Integrations

Improved Sage integration for purchase invoices

We’ve fixed an issue where purchase invoices sent to Sage were sometimes rejected due to missing tax information and incorrect date formats. The integration now correctly identifies and sends a zero tax rate for invoice lines and uses the proper ISO date format, ensuring that your purchase invoices are successfully posted to Sage.
