Release 4.39.15

This release brings significant improvements to how you manage project documents and company settings, including a streamlined workflow for cost and income approvals, enhanced email domain verification, and flexible terms and conditions templates for subcontracts and purchase orders.

Company settings

Easier troubleshooting for company email domains

Admin users can now more easily troubleshoot and repair issues with company email domain verification directly within the admin panel. The system now highlights mismatches in DNS records, making it simpler to spot typos. For domains that get stuck in a PENDING or FAILED state despite correct records, a new “Repair setup” or “Retry verification” button allows administrators to complete missing configurations or restart checks without needing developer intervention.

Invoice inbox

Improved workflow for cost and income approvals

When processing uploaded invoices and income documents, users will now be redirected to the project’s file list immediately after submitting a cost or income. This change streamlines the workflow for handling multiple documents, allowing you to quickly move to the next file without navigating back manually. A confirmation message is now also shown for all cost and income types after submission.

Projects

Create project form retains input

The “Create project” form will no longer clear its input when you switch browser tabs or when background refreshes occur. This ensures that any information you’ve entered remains in the form, preventing loss of work, especially when setting up your first project.

Purchase orders

Flexible terms and conditions templates

You can now create and manage multiple named templates for terms and conditions specifically for purchase orders under Company-wide features. This allows you to use different sets of terms for various types of orders (e.g., material orders vs. service orders). When creating a new purchase order, you can select the appropriate template from a dropdown. The chosen terms are now saved with the purchase order, ensuring that the PDF and summary always reflect the terms agreed upon at the time of creation, even if templates are later edited or deleted.

Subcontractor orders

Flexible terms and conditions templates

You can now create and manage multiple named templates for terms and conditions specifically for subcontracts under Company-wide features. This allows you to use different sets of terms for various types of agreements (e.g., roofing contracts vs. concrete works). When creating a new subcontract, you can select the appropriate template from a dropdown. The chosen terms are now saved with the subcontract, ensuring that the PDF and summary always reflect the terms agreed upon at the time of creation, even if templates are later edited or deleted. A new company setting, “Hide contract-specific terms,” also allows you to remove the free-text contract-specific terms field from subcontract creation if you prefer to rely solely on templates.
