Release 4.39.12

This release introduces a significant enhancement to the AI budget converter, allowing it to accurately recognize and process explicit income rows in your budget spreadsheets.

Budget

AI budget converter now supports explicit income rows

Previously, the AI budget converter might have incorrectly added income or revenue rows from your spreadsheets to your project's costs, leading to an overestimation of expenses.

Now, the converter intelligently identifies dedicated income, revenue, or payment schedule sections. These rows are processed with the same level of detail as cost rows (including headings, units, quantities, and unit prices) but are kept separate from your estimated costs.

In the converted budget file, income rows will appear in their own section within the "Budget submitted to client" columns, ensuring your estimated costs remain accurate. A new "Income" billing mode has been added. The AI assistant will now list detected income rows and their total alongside cost totals, allowing you to confirm both aspects before conversion. If there's any ambiguity about a row, the assistant will ask for clarification.

Known Limitations:

  • The estimate file itself does not include income rows; they are noted in the conversion summary.
  • For the best results, ensure income sections in your spreadsheets are clearly labeled, as the detection relies on recognizing these sections.
