Release 4.39.11
This release brings significant enhancements to how you manage your subcontractor orders, introducing the ability to download them as branded PDFs. We’ve also improved email deliverability by honoring unsubscribe requests for external recipients, ensuring better communication with your partners.
General Improvements
Honour unsubscribe requests before sending supplier emails
We’ve implemented a global unsubscribe feature for all emails sent to external recipients (suppliers, subcontractors, etc.). This enhancement improves email deliverability and ensures compliance with email sending best practices:
- Universal Unsubscribe: A single unsubscribe link in any email allows recipients to opt out of all future emails from any Planyard customer.
- No Login Required: The unsubscribe process is simple and doesn’t require a Planyard login.
- Mail Provider Support: Emails now include standard unsubscribe headers, allowing mail providers like Outlook and Gmail to display their own “Unsubscribe” button for convenience.
- Sender Notification: If you attempt to send an email to an address that has unsubscribed, you will be immediately notified, preventing undelivered messages.
Subcontractor orders
Add downloadable subcontract PDF
You can now download your subcontracts as clean, branded PDFs directly from the subcontract page using the new Download PDF action.
The PDF includes:
- Subcontractor and customer details, including contact persons.
- Project name, subcontract name, reference number, creation and signed dates, and payment terms.
- All current line items, with change orders clearly separated.
- Net total, VAT, and gross total.
- Your company logo.
Flexible Terms: The document supports two types of terms: - Company-wide Terms and Conditions: Managed once in Company Settings, these apply to all subcontract PDFs.
- Contract-specific Terms: Optional wording unique to a single subcontract, editable from the subcontract’s Summary tab.
Both types of terms are also visible in read-only format during subcontract creation and on the Summary tabs for subcontracts and purchase orders, so you always know what wording your documents will carry. Anyone with project view access and the Subcontracts entitlement can download the PDF.
Clarified contract-specific terms field
To improve clarity, the field previously known as “Contract description” has been renamed to “Contract-specific terms.” This change accurately reflects its purpose for capturing terms unique to a particular subcontract, making it easier to understand and use during creation and editing.
